This past weekend, we went to Kansas for a family wedding. On Saturday morning Aunt Renee and Uncle Andy went with us to the park. Parker loved to run up and down the ramp, climb up the stairs, crawl through the tunnel and of course slide! He had so much fun!

Later that day was the wedding reception. Parker loved playing outside with his cousins. Parker and Logan walked down to the pond to throw in rocks.

Torrey Pines

We spent the morning hiking in Torrey Pines. There were several hikes along the coast that took a few hours to explore. A nice woman stopped on the trail and took several pictures of us. After hiking, we went to La Jollia to eat lunch. At our resturant we saw the same woman that took our picture. She recognized us and said she owend the resturant. It had great food and we sat on a beautiful patio covered in potted flowers.

Parker loves to watch the birds in our yard. Dan had a great idea of getting a bird feeder for the window and it has been a hit. For a few days this spring, we had some ducks visit our yard. This picture may explain why we have not seen much of them since...
Parker had both grandmas in town for Mother's Day! We had a great day & Parker loved having his Papa and Grandma here for the weekend!

We went to the park after school last week. Parker played on the playground as I played with my new camera!

Spring is Here!

Despite a few blizzards, feet of snow, and cold weather, Spring is here!

Dan and Parker went to Kansas the last weekend and had lots of fun. Grandma took Parker to visit family all over Kansas. They went on an egg hunt and played with his new fishing poll. He learned how to say "Rock Chalk Jay Hawk, Go KU!" and the sign of the cross; perfect for Easter.

We had a great Easter Sunday. Parker loved hunting for eggs. In church he said "Bye church! Home!"

Parker's 2nd Birthday

Parker had a great party on Saturday! There were lots of friends and family that came to celebrate. We had chili and of course cake and ice cream. Parker loved to open all his presents and had enough to keep him busy opening gifts all week.

On his birthday, we went to the aquarium in the morning. After his nap we took him to school and brought in "treats" for his friends. Then, we went to the park and played with his new toys. He loved to hear "Happy Birthday" and now calls candles "hot!" This year he caught on to blowing out the candle and opening presents.
