DISNEY WORLD 2008!

We had so much fun at Disney World!
Dan and Parker met me in Orlando on Friday 1/16. I was so excited to see them both. Parker giggled and giggled when he saw me. We rode our first of many buses from the lobby to our room (the resort was 1.5 miles wide) where we all crashed for three hours. I was exhausted from my business trip and Parker was ready for a nap after behaving so well on the plane. We went to Disney Downtown for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.
The next day, we headed to DISNEY WORLD! Dumbo was our first ride. Parker didn't get the concept of lines and it was a long 20 minutes. So, we headed to several play areas they had for kids. We rode a few other rides and headed back to the hotel to take a nap. Since all three of us slept for four hours, we headed back to WDW at 8PM and rode all the kid rides and saw Mickey with no lines! It was great!
Our resort had a great pool and play areas so we kept busy at the resort on Sunday. That evening, we went back to Disney Downtown and played in the huge toy stores.
Our last full day was spent at the Animal Kingdom. Since we stayed at the Disney resort, we were able to arrive an hour earlier than the rest of the visitors. That hour allowed us to take the Safari, visit the petting zoo, and walk around the trails without a crowd. It was amazing! Parker had such a great time looking at the animals and running around on the trails.
It was a bummer to leave on Tuesday. We had such a great trip and are already planning our next trip back!

What a great Christmas! We saw lots of family, had lots of food, and of course there were TOYS!

We went to Bass Pro shop one Sunday to pick out some gifts. I went to find Parker and Dan and found mini-Daniel (boone).

November Fun!

Parker loves our Christmas tree. He says "Tree?! Lights?! On?!" We saw Santa at school today. Parker wasn't so sure about the whole deal and cried when he sat on Santa's lap.

Thanksgiving dinner!

We stayed the night in a Yurt in Golden. Parker LOVED the yurt and now thinks he should have a smore every night.

We took a family trip to Miller Farms where parker played on the tractors, airplanes, cars, a fire trucks, and saw some farm animals.

October Pictures

October has already been a busy month. Parker took his first plane trip to St. Louis. There, we went to my cousin's wedding & saw some family. He did great on the plane and was a trooper the whole weekend.

Last weekend, we went to Vail for a friend's wedding. Parker did great and lasted 3/4 of the wedding ceremony.

Heather's 30th Birthday!

For my Birthday, Dan took Parker and me to the Aquarium. Parker had a blast looking at the fish. It was so fun watching Parker play and seeing all the neat fish. We ate dinner at the resturant and later went to the park. It was a great birthday!

What a great party! Pam made the beautiful cake, Leona set up all the decor, and Donna brought the drinks. Dan made a great meal. Thank you all!

Dan and Heather in Mexico!

Dan and I went to Mexico last week. We stayed 3 days in Holbox (pronounced Holbush) located about 3 hours north of Cancun. There, we swam with WhaleSharks, MantaRays, and saw several school of dolphin. For the remaining 5 days, we went south 4 hours to Tulum and stayed at the Palace Adventure Resort & Spa. It was so relaxing and nice to get away. However, we missed Parker (who stayed at my parent's house) and were ready to com home to see him.
